2 Exercise Studios

We have two Exercise studios at the Club.  The main studio is over 2,000 Sq Ft with a superb sprung maple wood floor complete with prominent stage for the teacher.

We have a separate dedicated studio for Indoor Cycling/Spinning which is enhanced with small down lights which can be dimmed to suit the mood, and if you’re feeling up for it the room also has disco lights to get the pulse racing.

Class Descriptions

Awesome abs
A mix of exercises specifically designed to strengthen, tone, and stretch the core muscles of the abdomen and back. All levels

BodyPump
BodyPump is the fastest way to shape up and lose body fat. It’s a toning and conditioning class with weights and is for just about everybody who wants to add strength training into their aerobic workout. The simplicity of the class makes Bodypump a great starting point to develop strength and confidence. Hot sounds and compelling choreography keep you going through each 45-minute or one-hour workout. BodyCombat
BodyCombat is a non-combat, martial arts-based fitness program with moves drawn from Karate, Tae Kwan Do, Kung Fu, kickboxing, Muay Thai and Tai Chi. Each class is choreographed to the latest music, providing an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers ultra-fast fitness results. All Levels

Indoor Cycling
Indoor Cycling is a fun athletic, cardiovascular workout that guarantees to leave you wanting more. A prolific calorie guzzler which lasts 45 minutes where your spinning instructor plans a ride terrain, and sets the ride to music. Aside from being great fun, you will get fitter faster than you ever believed possible. Spinning will literally lift inches off your bum and shape your legs. All Levels

Yoga Pilates
Conditioning both the body and soul. Relax and unwind with this unique class to strengthen and lengthen your muscles, giving you a leaner look, while freeing your mind from all the stresses and strains of the day. All Levels

Circuit Training
A class to target the aerobic, strength and endurance aspects of fitness, using a combination of exercises and drills to challenge the whole body. This is an easy to follow class, with all the benefits of group exercise and lots of motivation. All Levels

Please note

  • Technique classes are necessary before taking part in BodyPump, BodyCombat and Indoor Cycling. Ask at reception for details.
  • Due to limited places it is necessary to pre-book for BodyPump, BodyCombat and Indoor Cycling classes.

NON MEMBERS & CLASSES
Non Members may attend certain classes for a separate fee.  Please call in to the club for details.
