Q: £15.99 a month is an unbelievable price, what’s the catch?

A: There is no catch!

Q: What does ‘no contract’ mean?

A: You are not contractually tied to BodyZone for any specific period of time; you can cancel at any time.

Q: What are the opening hours?

A: Excluding holiday periods...
Monday – Thursday 6.00am – 10.00pm
Friday 6.00am – 9.00pm
Saturday 8.00am – 8.00pm
Sunday 8.00am – 8.00pm.

Q: Do I get a membership card for BodyZone?

A: You will be issued with a pin number that is unique to yourself which will enable you to gain access into the Club via a keypad at reception. On your first visit to BodyZone the staff will take a webcam photo which will display each time you enter your private pin number, thus ensuring that pin numbers are not shared or abused.

Q: Will I be shown how to use the equipment?

A: Yes, we provide a free 45 minute induction with a qualified trainer, during which we will show you how to operate the equipment, should you require this.

Q: Does my membership include FREE classes?

A: Yes, all classes (except kettlebells) are included with our membership.

Q: Are there changing facilities at BodyZone?

A: Yes, we provide showers, saunas, lockers and toilets. Hairdryers are also provided.

Q: Do I need to pay for the use of lockers?

A: Locker use is FREE. Our lockers operate with padlocks so you should bring your own padlock, or alternatively you can purchase a padlock at reception. Lockers are only to be used for the duration of your workout.

Q: Does the club have a swimming pool, spa, steam room and sauna?

A: We are offering a top quality gym facility with no ‘frills and fuss’ and therefore have opted not to have a swimming pool, spa or steam rooms. However we do have separate saunas available in both male and female changing areas which are included with gym membership.

Q: Do you have Personal Trainers?

A: Yes, we have a small team of qualified Personal Trainers. They are available at an additional cost of approximately £20-£25 per hour on an individual basis but can also be booked on a group basis to be negotiated with the individual Trainer. Remember you do have a free induction with a Personal Trainer when you begin your membership.

Q: What happens if I share or give my PIN number to somebody else to use?

A: Under no circumstances can you give or share your PIN number with anybody else. Offenders will have their membership cancelled immediately. All members entering and exiting the club are monitored by CCTV to ensure member safety and prevent PIN number abuse.

Q: How do I cancel my membership?

A: To cancel your membership simply contact your bank and cancel your standing order or Direct Debit. As a courtesy please send us an e mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. . to let us know of your reason for cancellation. Your membership will be immediately cancelled. Please note that it is totally your responsibility to cancel your Direct Debit or Standing Order, if you fail to do so, your membership will automatically continue and under no circumstance will a refund be offered by the club.

Q: How old do I need to be to join BodyZone?

A: You need to be 18 years old to join BodyZone.

Q: Can I freeze my membership?

A: No, it is just as easy to cancel your membership and rejoin once you are back in the area. However if you do rejoin at a later date you must pay a fresh joining fee.

Q: Can I try BodyZone before joining?
A: Yes, you can pay £5.99 for a single day membership to try the gym before joining. Alternatively you can pay £5 per class without membership.
